The Dress Coat is inspired by voluminous house coats of the 1960's. Fitted at the shoulders, its A-line shape generously falls to just above the ankle. A lined yoke at the back fits neatly on the shoulders, while an inverted pleat gives lots of movement and comfort. Sleeves are slightly cropped to bracelet length.
The coat can be worn in many ways. Loose and easy or cinched at the waist. A tie at the waist slips through the garment allowing the back to flow like a cape, while keeping definition at the front. Alternatively, tie at the back for an all-round more fitted look.
A simple, collarless round neck. Two patch pockets - one perfect for glasses or pens. One hidden pocket within the front seam. Buttons to the waistline.
The coat is available in different fabrics for different seasons;
Merlot dry oilskin - water and wind resistant
Sand, Navy, Grey or Rose organic cotton twill - soft and light, perfect for transitional seasons and chilly summer evenings
