Prior to launching my own architecture and design practice I worked at an award-winning architectural practice, Hayhurst & Co., for 8 years. I was project architect on a number of private homes. Most notably Grain House, winner of an RIBA London Award and the New London Architecture Materiality and Craftsmanship Prize 2021. Services available
Spatial consulting
A full review of the use of your existing space to propose a strategy for how this could be improved. Either by extending, reconfiguring or simple reorganisation. This can also include working with you to write a brief for more extensive design work.
Concept Design
Concept designs for both residential and commercial properties. This is in close collaboration with you, and an understanding of the surrounding context.
Interior Design
Full interior design services including plan and elevation drawings, material, fittings and furniture specifications.
On site
Contract administration and project management while on site and regular contact with the contractor to keep the project running smoothly.
Feasibility Studies
A review your aspirations for your site and assess how this could be achieved through review of the site, the planning and heritage context, the proposed use and budget constraints.
Planning Applications
Full design services and preparation of information required to submit a planning application. This includes acting as an agent on your behalf to liaise with the Local Authority during the determination period.
Technical Design
Technical drawings of proposed design for tender to contractors. This includes appointing and collaborating with required consultants and Statutory Authorities such as Structural Engineers and Building Control on your behalf.
